Go-To Card

Go-To Cards are reusable and reloadable cards used to pay bus fares. They're quick and easy to use when you are commuting around town. Visit the stations below to purchase or add value (added value will be available immediately).

• SouthWest Station (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday)
• SouthWest Village (6:00 AM – 8:30 AM, Tuesdays)
• East Creek (6:00 AM – 8:30 AM, Wednesdays)

You can also purchase, register, and reload your card online, but be sure to plan ahead – it might take up to 24 hours for the added value to be available on your card.

Another option is to enroll in the “Auto Refill” program.

Pass Programs

Universal Transit Pass (U-Pass): The U-Pass is a program that provides unlimited rides to undergraduate and graduate students from the U of MN who pay the Transportation and Safety Fee. You get rides on regional buses and trains – including Metro Transit buses, METRO lines, and suburban transit providers. It also provides a reduced fare on the NorthStar commuter rail. Metropass: For employees of participating companies and organizations. Offers unlimited rides (priced at $3.25 or under) on regional buses and trains for a monthly fee. Additional value can be added to your pass to cover fares over $3.25.

College Pass: For students of participating institutions. Offers unlimited rides (priced at $3.25 or under) on buses and trains for a semester. Additional value can be added to your pass to cover fares over $3.25.
