Carver County Transit and Mobility Study

About the Project

Carver County has partnered with SouthWest Transit (SWT) to identify where transit can support Carver County’s growing mobility needs. This study will guide the development of service concepts that align with community priorities, existing travel patterns, and long-range planning goals.

Objectives

  • Assess current mobility needs and gaps within Carver County
  • Identify and evaluate feasible transportation service options informed by public feedback, demographic and socio-economic context, and access needs
  • Support 2026 grant application process for transit expansion
