Where does the bus stop downtown?

What does “skip stop” mean? Buses pull into their designated stop every other block (“F” stops along 2nd Ave. and “D” stops along Marquette). Buses will not load passengers in the passing lane. Once the driver has closed the doors, they must move out of that stop and will not wait for passengers. Our drivers don’t want to leave anyone behind, but all buses must keep to a strict schedule along this corridor.

All routes have been carefully timed to allow for buses to enter their stop, load or unload passengers and re-enter traffic so the next bus can enter its assigned stop.
